Through innovative creative solutions and impeccable project management, we transform how our clients attract, entertain, and engage their audiences. We’re currently looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team and lead ongoing efforts of driving revenue, lead generating opportunities and managing existing accounts.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Associate, you will primarily drive revenue by selling event packages to corporate clients, social groups, government entities, foundations and individuals. You will play a vital role in identifying potential leads, generating new business, and maintaining relationships with existing clients and event professionals in the greater St. Louis area. Collaborating closely with the business development and event production team(s), you will develop effective sales strategies to attract clients and boost event projects.

You should be ready to:

  • Drive revenue growth by developing, promoting, and selling Contemporary service offering to corporate clients, social groups, government entities, foundations and individuals. Generate business by actively identifying potential leads in the greater St. Louis area.
  • Research, analyze and track multiple client prospects and establish contact with key client prospects.
  • Track/manage/evaluate pipeline consistently in CRM platform.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, as well as event professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Executive team to create effective strategies to attract clients and increase event bookings.

Areas of focus include:

· Generate opportunities with new and existing clients in the fields of:

o Creative Development

o Event Design

o Event Planning

o Logistical Management

o Entertainment booking

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Track record as a Sales or Business Development Executive in the events/trade show/conference industry, minimum of 3-5 years.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software platform (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)

· Ability to professionally present collateral materials to prospective customers, and to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams and outside vendors.

· Strong knowledge of the St. Louis corporate scene and social groups, including but not limited to hotels, visitor’s bureau & convention center, tourism groups and chambers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Preferred candidate able to commute to St. Louis, MO office.
  • Strong work ethic.

Compensation

A competitive base salary and an unlimited commission potential based on gross sales revenue to be offered, as well as coverage for medical, dental and vision benefits.
