Control Systems Specialist

Embedded in Pasadena, TX

Contech Control Services is seeking team-oriented professionals who have hands-on knowledge of Distributive Control Systems (DCS), specifically Emerson DeltaV configuration, graphics, system architecture, and logic programming of plant control systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

The Control System Specialist performs a wide range of duties, including the following :

• Assist on day-to-day in-plant maintenance, troubleshooting and configuration changes
• Project support related to hardware, software, testing, and commissioning
• Responsible for specification and selection of Control Systems hardware
• Responsible to assist with documentation and drawing changes related to process control
• Communicate progress to supervisor

Requirements :

The Control System Specialist requirements include, but are not limited to, the following :

BS in Engineering field required

• 10 years of control system engineering experience
• Experience configuring DeltaV Live graphics is a plus.
• Previous plant maintenance experience is a plus.
• Experience with virtualized DeltaV Systems and CHARM I / O are a plus.
• Configuration experience on any other SIS, DCS, PLC, or HMI system is a plus.
• PE License is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software products.

Working conditions are as follows :

• Position Type : Full Time, Full Benefits, Permanent
• Standard Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
• Overtime : Occasionally, paid by hourly rate
• Travel : 20% maximum
