Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading bikes into a Ford transit van and delivering them to various locations within 1-hour delivery range. Additionally, you will need to navigate and drive in tight spaces with precision and care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload bikes into a small van using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Ensure that bikes are securely fastened and protected during transport to prevent damage.
• Drive with caution, especially in congested areas and tight spaces.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and roadworthiness.
• Communicate effectively with stores to make sure bikes get delivered in a timely manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies always.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck or van driver.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, including bikes, with ease.
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to drive confidently in tight spaces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
