Job Summary

As the Enterprise Data Architect at Consumer Cellular, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data architecture to support our strategic business objectives. You will be responsible for designing and managing our enterprise data solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into data strategies and architect solutions to optimize data management and analytics capabilities.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
• Design and oversee the implementation of data models, data integration solutions, and data pipelines to support business processes and analytical needs.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, data standards, and data management practices across the organization.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies, tools, and platforms to meet current and future business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand data needs and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Lead efforts to improve data quality, data security, and data privacy practices throughout the data lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts, and other team members.
• Stay abreast of emerging data trends, technologies, and methodologies, and recommend innovations to enhance our data architecture.

Demonstrated Experience (5 – 8 years’ experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (7 years) in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), data modeling techniques (e.g., ERD, dimensional modeling), and data governance principles.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and cloud-based data services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive consensus, and influence decision-making.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Architect) are desirable.
