Job Summary: The Assistant Superintendent will assist the Superintendent in the daily operations of the assigned job site and carry out, as directed, all duties of overseeing tasks completion, work schedules, and safety, and manage all documentation of records as required by client and company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the superintendent to prepare and submit daily reports and logs to our project managing software Construction Online.

Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials and problems - current and resolved - on the job site.

Keep the job site organized and clean.

Communicate and report on project status to superintendent on site.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Coordinate with other departments and align project objectives with company and client expectations.

Observe safety and security procedures and make the superintendent aware of issues that need addressing.

Attend project meetings.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Computer proficient with the ability to adapt to new processes.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.

Basic knowledge of construction industry and experience a plus.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in project management software.

Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.

Should have OSHA 30 or be willing to earn this card.
