Outside Sales Rep / Account Manager

Responsibilities include:
-Smiling and making the best of any situation no matter the circumstances
-Respond to leads and sales opportunities by scheduling appointments and meeting with potential customers for product demonstrations, to provide quotes and close sales
-Maintain an active role in all phases of project management to ensure successful project execution, including blueprint take-offs, product selection, project specification, proposal preparation, lead time and delivery management, exceptions and bid inclusions
-Call on and develop consultative relationships with builders, specifying architects, and designers to educate them on products and services, influence them to specify products and develop project sales opportunities. Conduct sales presentations and product knowledge meetings
-Identify effective and active local building industry organizations; be active to build brand awareness and develop relationships. Represent the Company at industry events and trade and home shows
-Assist with customers in the Showroom when needed and maintain its upkeep
-Work and communicate with the operations staff and counter sales in the highest level of professionalism
-Travel to vendor workshops and training sessions
-Occasionally assist counter sales in special circumstances
