What You'll Do

• Edits technical, business, and informational materials, including reports, brochures, presentations, and articles about diverse topics such as engineering, information technology, safety, and security
• Writes business and communications products
• Works with management, project leads, authors, and subject matter experts to establish schedules and project outcomes
• May coordinate inputs from other functions including graphic arts, photography, and reproduction
• Ensures standards and quality assurance requirements are met

What You Can Expect

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, no experience
• OR Master's degree, no experience
• OR Eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, Journalism, or Communications or in a scientific or technical field with demonstrated writing and editing experience
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly styles in Word
• Other desirable skills include oral and written communication, and planning
• Knowledge of writing and editing standards and practices. Familiarity or experience with style manuals (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, Associated Press)
