The Medical Clinic Screener is a customer service position that requires no prior medical office experience. This Screener role involves welcoming, directing and observing patients during the course of a Covid-19 vaccine clinic. PPE is provided. You will be working with a team of nurses and support staff in setting up the environment, navigating patients as they enter and exit the building, entering data into a computer and observing patients for adverse reactions. Hours will be flexible and part time. This position may be required to travel to other locations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of clinical and support staff to administer Covid-19 vaccines to the community. (PPE is provided.)
• Provide patients with written materials, including vaccine information and V Safe health checker handout
• Assist patients with setting up 2nd appointment
• Assist patients into and out of the buildings, directing individuals to the restrooms and elevators/entrances.
• Answering general questions regarding process and flow of the clinic.
• Manage parking area and direct individuals to the check in desk.
• Observing for adverse reactions and alerting clinical staff with any concerns
• Assisting individuals in completing paperwork.
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning
• Lead with heart empathy and compassion for their patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team
• Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
• Collaborate with others and actively contribute to a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride.
• Professionally interact with health care professionals and patients
• The role may require daily travel to administer vaccines in clinics/remote sites/office locations.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid drivers license; ability to travel
