Maintenance Director-Full Time
Our client, a leading healthcare facility located in Southern Westchester County, has engaged us to identify a leader to assume a full-time Maintenance Director position.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible overall management and daily supervision of operations and maintenance of the facility. In this key position located in a modern and well appointed facility, some of your daily activities will include completing preventative maintenance tasks within the documented timeline, which also includes initiating work orders, completing projects and maintaining records. You will also be supervising the maintenance department, putting together staff schedules, overseeing work that has been completed and conducting employee training. Renovations and improvements will be planned out and budgeted, along with inventory and ordering. This position offers a wide variety of problem solving and management for a self- motivated individual.
We are looking to speak to someone who has 2 years of experience as a supervisor or director of engineering, or maintenance/facilities staff, preferably in a hospital or other healthcare facility. Degree in Engineering or a related field, or extensive prior experience as a skilled Journeyman in a trade, strong problem-solving skills and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance. COVID-19 vaccination required.
