Position Summary
Parker Store Managers greet, engage, build hoses for, diagnose and fix problems for customers. Store Managers are the front line of customer service at Connector Specialists.
Additional responsibilities include general building care, equipment, supplies and general business activities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Greet customers as they walk in the door / providing a great customer experience
Diagnose/Identify and make hoses, as well as other customer related opportunities
Check out Customers using our TrulinX Software, would include Credit Cards/Cash
Learn TrulinX Software
Product knowledge training to help customers solve problems
Inventory Control/ Put away report / bin moves
Stock store shelves/clean bins routinely
Check in ups/stock transfers
Prepare outgoing shipments
Keep general appearance of store in exemplary condition
Set positive atmosphere for customers and employees
Education/Experience
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or higher
2 years of management experience preferred
Skills/Abilities
Must have a general knowledge of what we do (Industrial Distribution)/what we sell (Parker).
Self-motivating along with motivating others and good team building skills
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Completion of recognized/qualified training program (PTAC)
Customer Service Orientated
Experience in Microsoft Office a plus
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
