As a DSP, you will work directly with adults and children with developmental/intellectual disabilities to help them become integrated in their community at their preferred level. You will work with the customers of Connections NW in their home and in the community. DSP’s will be responsible for following support plans to assist customers in reaching their personal goals, creating daily progress notes in a timely manner, and communicating professionally and appropriately with the customers, their family members and any other members of their team. Employees of Connections NW must maintain the highest level of compliance with all policies, procedures, values and standards.
Our customer’s needs vary and we are looking to fill day and swing shifts on all days of the week. Transportation needs could potentially be up to 30 minutes each way. We offer mileage reimbursement for travel with customers who are 18 or over. This position can be flexible and meet your life needs. We will work with our employees to create a schedule that works for them!
