Position Overview
The Staging Center Supervisor is accountable for ensuring the Staging and Configuration team can meet production timelines while maintaining high quality standards. This position requires attention-to-detail and follow-through as well as excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers. Technical knowledge of network, desktop, and other hardware as well as installation is essential. Position requires understanding of technology concepts, applications, and equipment.
Primary Duties Include
Ensures all Staging and Configuration requirements are delivered in scope by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring workflow, and developing and maintaining process.
- Creates and maintains written processes and procedures for the Staging and Configuration Center including new project configuration environment procedures, and Quality Assurance (QA) process.
- Manages the Staging Center workflow and all Staging and Configuration deliverables and timelines.
- Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with internal and external customers.
- Provides clear expectations, planning, monitoring, and coaching for the Staging Analysts
- Responsible for coordinating Staging and Configuration project on boarding, including implementation planning, documentation, internal network configuration, deployment servers or any other technical requirements.
- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining Staging and Configuration processes and systems, evaluating, and adjusting as needed.
Education, Training, and Personal Attributes
- High school graduate required, military experience or college desired.
- 2 year of management or supervisory experience
- 2 years of IT related experience
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Able to work well under pressure in a high paced environment.
- Able to multitask and delegate effectively.
- Microsoft Excel proficient level skills
- Microsoft Outlook proficient level skills
- Must be dependable.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, IPSec, Web Applications, and various IT systems.
- IT related certifications are a plus.
- Interacts with client and/or vendor in troubleshooting hardware or configuration issues.
- Able to prioritize workload and maximize Staging resource skillsets.
