Connection Healthcare Inc. is Hiring a Bilingual Receptionist Near Tampa, FL

Job Summary:

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a positive experience for all individuals interacting with our company. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks and provide crucial support to various departments. This position requires exceptional communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Spanish, and/or Creole.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications will be a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including:

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Adobe PDF for document creation, editing, and management
- Internet research and information retrieval
- Email management
- Basic troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and standards is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for phone calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including sorting and distributing mail, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, maintaining office supplies, and more.
  • Manage the reception area and making sure the area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Warmly welcoming and assisting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with any tasks and special projects as assigned by management and administrators.
  • Handle data entry tasks accurately and maintain organized records.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, visitors, and employees promptly and professionally. Provide information about the company, its services, and relevant policies.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Design and maintain effective filing systems to enhance organization and efficiency.
  • Assist clients with documents, inquiries, complaints, and other matters, ensuring their needs are met with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal and financial information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with HR team members to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees.
  • Securely manage important and confidential company documents.
  • Maintain a proactive and adaptable approach towards change, fostering creativity and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and effective communication.
  • Provide language assistance to non-English speaking clients or visitors. Translate documents or correspondence as needed.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the organization.
