Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) seeks a full-time Early Childhood Programs Health Assistant (1.0 FTE) to work in our Norwalk facilities.
Summary Duties: This position serves as the Health Assistant for CIFC’s Norwalk Early Childhood programs Health and Nutrition Services Professional (RN). Assists with with day to day health and nutrition activities of the Norwalk Early Learning Program. Including assisting with hearing and vision screenings, covid related activities, and ensuring all children and families are compliant with program requirements. This position serves as the Assistant to the “School Nurse” for the CIFC Early Childhood programs. This position will require travel occasional travel to our Danbury sites.

Requirements
Education: Minimum High school Diploma or equivalent required. Certified Medical Assistant preferred, hold current BLS Certification preferred. 1 year related work experience in a medical office, familiarity with EMR systems (preferred) and ability to take vital signs.
