About the Job

The role of the Production Supervisor provides vision and direction over all production operations. Ensures compliance with company procedures and product specifications.

What You Will Do

• Oversee all production functions including managing and leading the packaging team, processing team as well as monitoring inventory of raw materials. Allocate daily labor as needed.
• Demonstrate on-site leadership, models leadership qualities and proactively addressing concerns, conflicts, and communication hurdles with team members.
• Drive and track productivity by achieving daily and weekly production goals. Enters relevant data daily into Operational Tracker.
• Communicate and support high expectations for teamwork, mutual respect, open communication within the team and across functions.
• Manage/Monitor raw materials including, but not limited to PPE, packaging, labels, equipment and other supplies.
• Ensure finished products are accurately packaged and labeled, collaborate with Inventory team to ensure system conversions are accurately recorded.
• Manage workflow to ensure no backlog of material, allocate materials properly between packaging departments.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure all finished products are labeled and are compliant. This will include the creation and verification of all Primary, Secondary labels.
• Ensure all finished goods are organized. Collaborate with Production Manager to identify finished goods to be lab tested. Collect and manage run/shelf samples of each unique batch that is packaged.
• Ensures employee evaluations for all direct report staff are completed annually.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years’ supervising non-exempt production employees
• Comfortable learning new technologies - strong computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
• Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
• Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strongly committed to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products.
• Safety and compliance focused.
• High school degree or equivalent required.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance
• Ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend and reach for the duration of shift
• Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
• Requires normal hearing range
