Connect Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant to join a company who specializes in promotional plastic products.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements for the AR Assistant: 

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues independently.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable.
• Experience with collections and credit management is a plus.

Responsibilities of the AR Assistant:

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices.
• Process customer payments received via check, credit card, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or other payment methods.
• Reconcile payments received with invoices and update accounting records accordingly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing errors in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, or payment arrangements.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions in the accounting system.
