Conifer Specialties, Inc. is a food manufacturing located in Woodinville, WA, producing and distributing consumer packaged products regionally and nationwide through several channels including club, retail, discount, and industrial co-manufacturers. Originally started over 40 years ago to deliver prized concession scones at the Washington State Fair, Conifer primarily produces dry meal and beverage solutions ranging from soup kits to hot cocoa powder.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing lines 

• Maintain inventory of repair equipment/supplies and develop working relationships with vendors and outside contractors 

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs on manufacturing equipment 

• Perform basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building repairs as necessary 

• Assist in setup/install of machinery, ventilation, HVAC and refrigeration systems 

• Inspect and maintain alarm systems 

• Assist in selecting contract specialists for larger maintenance-related projects 

• Train production operators on proper equipment usage and maintenance 

• Assist in on-the-job training of newly hired Machine Operators and other production line staff responsible for interacting with our equipment 

• Perform administrative computer tasks and develop Standard Operating Procedures as needed 

• Track maintenance work orders and assist in work order program improvement efforts 

• Follow all personnel safety and food safety requirements
