Confluence Environmental Company, a dynamic and growing consulting firm, is looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist who enjoys working collaboratively and independently on a variety of accounting tasks. Tasks include creating and submitting invoices, facilitating preparation of progress reports, maintaining spreadsheets, inputting accounts payable and credit card entries into our database, etc. The candidate will be an important part of both our accounting team and our administrative team. The position will be expected to meet both internal and external deadlines.

We are looking for a candidate who is well organized, detail-oriented, experienced providing professional services to internal and external clients, and comfortable operating with confidentiality. Required qualifications include:

• 4 years of experience in a similar accounting position for a professional services or consulting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and PC computers

Salary based on years of experience. Accounting Specialists with 4 years of experience earn $56,160-$72,800 DOE.
