About the Role

The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at the company is a key leadership role focused on driving operational excellence and efficiency. The VP of FP&A is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to support business performance and decision-making. This includes developing and executing long-term financial plans, leading the annual budgeting process, and providing insightful analysis of financial results. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, establishing KPIs, and building sophisticated financial models for scenario planning and investment analysis. The VP of FP&A is expected to build and develop a high-performing team, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.Candidates for the VP of FP&A position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial planning and analysis, including at least 5 years' in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, as well as advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and lead a large team. Experience with financial planning software such as Hyperion or Anaplan is desirable. The role also requires the ability to travel up to 10% and manage team members across different locations.
