About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President with a strong background in PR and public affairs to lead and execute strategic communication, media relations, and public affairs strategies for a diverse range of client accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with client goals, and leading a team of professionals to achieve success. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, at least 10 years of experience in the field, and a proven track record in managing client accounts and teams within a PR or public affairs agency. The Vice President will also be actively involved in business development, including leveraging their network to secure new opportunities and representing the company at industry events.Applicants for the Vice President position must be adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously, have a strong understanding of the media industry, and be able to work effectively in a remote-first environment. The role demands a leader who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure situations with poise. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a passion for building relationships and driving new business, and will be expected to mentor and motivate their team to ensure the company's continued growth and success. A positive attitude, good sense of humor, and proficiency in computer skills, including G Suite, Slack, and MuckRack, are also essential.
