Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales teams to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills, technical medical sales expertise, and a proven track record in business development. The territory for this role is the greater Louisville, KY market and greater Lexington, KY market. Travel throughout the territory will be necessary weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives
- Manage and lead the sales teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM systems to track sales activities and monitor performance
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in order to drive innovation in our sales approach
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a successful sales team
- Strong background in medical sales
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and close deals
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM systems
