Role Overview
This role is an opportunity for a high energy, self-motivated, professional who has a passion for analytical insights to drive data driven decision-making within the organization.
This individual will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes for functional areas within the organization. This role partners with executive leadership and their teams to develop financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability. The Director of FP&A provides leadership and guidance to financial analysts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. Your resiliency, adaptability and business acumen are all keys to your success.
AccountabilitiesPartner with executive leadership to develop financial plans and strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objective, including annual budget/operating plan and monthly forecastsProvide value added analyses and insights to business leaders, anticipating the business requirements to support the business objectivesPrepare and present financial reports, analysis and insights to broad range of stakeholdersMonitor and analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and variancesDevelop and maintain financial modeling and scenario planning to support business initiatives, investment opportunities, and cost optimization strategiesManage and mentor team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learningStay abreast of industry trends, economic factors, and external changes affecting the business' financial performance and outlook
Required qualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plusCPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus8 years in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of business partnership and strategic decision supportWorking knowledge of US GAAPExperience in a SaaS environment strongly preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insightsAdvanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial reporting systems (e.g. planning, ERP, BI tools)Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholdersStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teamsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectivelyHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
