Nice North America LLC is Hiring a Vice President, Sales (Security) Near Carlsbad, CA

Summary:

Nice North America is the American and Canadian-managed division of Nice S.p.A., an Italian multinational company that designs, manufactures, and markets smart home security and automation products in over 100 countries throughout the world. We offer a full line of access, automation, control, and security solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

We are looking for a Sales Vice President to lead the Security and Access sales activities for the organization (U.S. and Canada). This individual will have the opportunity to not only lead but grow our Nice North America presence across regions through various channels to include dealers, distributors, contractors, and installers. Responsible for leading the team to exceed sales, profitability, and finance goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current relationships, grow market share, uncover new opportunities.
  • Leverage Sales technology systems to track and measure performance against KPIs.
  • Maintain a cadence for communication and feedback both internally and externally.
  • Recruit and hire sales staff and develop training programs.
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
  • Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives; Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives.
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers; Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through department managers within the company.
  • Attend industry association events and customer trade shows as directed.
  • Maintains records and makes reports on all phases of activities and performs other tasks as required.
  • Understand, support, and execute all work according to the established procedures of the organization.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
  • Required to have a strong comfort-level communicating throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Implements and maintains department policies and standards.
  • Achieve and constantly exceed KPI’s for self and team (e.g., new customers, attachment sales, product launches, etc.)
  • Ensures that all customer activities for self and team are entered into the company’s CRM system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • OEM security and access industry experience - selling through channel partners and direct sales.
  • Experience leading sales teams: sales directors, regional sales managers.
  • Requires a minimum of 12 years related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a Master’s plus 7 years managerial experience or equivalent experience.
  • Budgetary experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in ERP or business intelligence systems.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to establish priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker and ability to implement tactically.
  • Demonstrated Project Management and/or Leadership skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the underlying technology and its value to customers.
  • Strong written communication and verbal skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail with written communication and verbal skills.
  • Computer literacy required, including intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of (ex. product associates).
  • Interviewing, selecting, and training employees.
  • Performance evaluations.

Budgetary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing financial information (e.g., revenues, expenditures, and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget.
  • Presenting annual budgets to leadership team.
  • Make budgetary suggestions and execute cost-saving initiatives.
