About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Health Equity and DEI to spearhead the development and implementation of its overall health equity strategy. This executive will serve as a subject matter expert in health equity and as an operational leader for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The role involves working closely with the leadership team to advance the organization's mission, vision, and strategy in these critical areas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience, with at least five years dedicated to health equity efforts. Experience in a health system, hospital, academic medical center, or university setting is highly valued, as is a proven track record in leading the development and execution of multiyear strategic health equity plans.The Vice President will be responsible for leading and implementing action plans that promote health equity within the organization and externally. This includes being the public-facing leader for health equity and DEI and serving as the key spokesperson at a national level. The role requires a candidate with strong business acumen, executive presence, and exceptional communication and relationship building skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across all facets of the organization to ensure that health equity is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
