About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Communications to lead a team in developing and executing strategic public relations and communication plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and protecting the company's brand reputation, both externally with media and government entities, and internally to engage and educate employees. This role requires an ambassador for the organization who can build strong relationships with the media and effectively showcase the company's market differentiators. The VP of Communications will also be tasked with crisis communication, providing counsel to the executive leadership team, and defining processes for key message alignment.Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 15 years' of experience in media relations and strategic communications, and at least 10 years' of leadership experience. The role demands a professional with the ability to provide strategic counsel, handle sensitive material, and work effectively with government organizations. Preferred qualifications include previous experience as a spokesperson and a background in PBM or healthcare. The VP of Communications will be expected to travel up to 20% of the time and should possess exceptional interpersonal, strategic planning, and communication skills.
