Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manufacturing Associate to join our dynamic team. The Technical Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for helping drive the technical aspects of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and a hands-on approach to drive operational excellence within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce production costs while maintaining high product quality standards.

Quality Control: Execute rigorous quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

Technical Expertise: Bring technical expertise to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and innovation. Demonstrated knowledge and experience executing basic electrical power, wiring and light mechanical assembly concepts.

Problem Solving: Assist in identifying technical issues, bottlenecks, and production challenges, and help to implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor production metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance productivity and product quality.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards during production.

Continuous Improvement: Support and drive initiatives to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in technical manufacturing, including familiarity with basic electrical power wiring and distribution concepts.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control methodologies.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and creatively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior management.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in operating ERP/MRP systems daily as well as utilizing data analysis tools/software for monitoring production metrics.
  • Previous exposure to implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience working in small company (< 25 employees) manufacturing environments is a plus.
