About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Quantitative Research & Marketing Science to lead its quantitative research department. The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending research methodologies, designing studies, and guiding questionnaire development. This role involves interfacing with clients to develop new business, overseeing sampling methodology, and analyzing data using advanced statistical modeling and data mining techniques to derive quantitative-based business insights. The SVP will also be tasked with developing analysis frameworks for evaluating business problems, data visualization, and ensuring the execution of quantitative studies from beginning to end.Applicants must have an advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD) in a related marketing, math, or data science major, and a minimum of 10 years of vendor-side experience at a market research agency, preferably a boutique firm. A strong background in data science, with at least 5 years of experience in market research applications, is required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, R, and Python, and a proven track record in designing and executing complex studies like segmentation, brand positioning, creative testing, and customer journey. Proficiency in advanced statistical modeling and a deep understanding of interpreting results from various statistical techniques are essential.
