About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the APX product organization. This role is pivotal in incubating and expanding the portfolio of mission-critical services and capabilities that support the company's products, which are designed to protect life, enhance safety, and contribute to a fair and effective justice system. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the product strategy, defining the product roadmap, and ensuring that the technical foundations align with the business and product roadmaps. Key responsibilities include owning the vision and strategic growth of APX, hiring and developing a top-tier product management team, and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. The role demands a leader who can drive day-to-day progress, model excellent communication, and foster a culture of trust, ownership, and results.Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 10 years in software product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex product launches and working closely with software engineering teams. Experience in infrastructure and platform as a service offerings is a plus. The role calls for an individual with the ability to influence people and organizations, a strong technical background, and a commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies.
