About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director for Corporate Accounting and Global Consolidations. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in overseeing global consolidations, including US GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards, and Government accounting and compliance. This position requires a seasoned professional with a mix of Big 4 and industry experience, particularly in managing global consolidations and financial systems functions at complex, multi-national, publicly-traded companies. The Senior Director will be responsible for collaborating with business and functional leaders to ensure operational excellence, robust controls, and a high-quality, timely financial close. Additionally, the role involves leading special projects such as M&A integration, ERP upgrades, and the implementation of new accounting and reporting standards.Applicants should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, a BS or equivalent in accounting or finance, and a CPA. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as is the ability to build and develop high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will also have experience with ERP systems and reporting tools, and a continuous improvement mindset. Technical skills in areas such as D365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Hyperion Financial Management are a plus. The role demands an individual with excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with M&A integration, leading ERP implementation/upgrade, and government accounting in the Aerospace or Defense industry is highly valued.
