About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its International Legal team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a positive energy, a passion for learning, and a "can do" attitude. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and is excited about the intense moments in a sprint and recharge work culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior legal leadership for the company's growing Brazilian crypto business, including regulatory responses, licensing and registration, and legal advocacy within Brazil and other markets in Latin America. Experience with financially regulated products, particularly securities and derivatives, and a background in or interest in cryptocurrency markets and custody is highly preferred.As a key member of the International Legal team, the Senior Counsel will work closely with global cross-functional teams in legal, product, commercial, and related areas. The role involves staying abreast of and advising on legal and regulatory issues related to digital currency and blockchain technology, as well as leading and assisting with complex global efforts. The candidate should be comfortable challenging the status quo, have excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English and be adept at collaborating with diverse teams to solve problems and achieve business goals. A team-oriented, collaborative approach and a commitment to the company's mission are essential.
