Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Principal to join our growing, private special educational school. As the School Principal, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to create a positive learning environment for students, teachers, and staff. Your role will involve strategic planning, budgeting, curriculum development, and fostering a culture of excellence. Further, the successful candidate will play a critical role in increasing school enrollment and developing meaningful partnerships with our sending school districts.

Responsibilities:
Lead the overall administration of the school.

Establishing and maintaining an effective learning climate in the school.

Responsibility for the operation of the school in compliance with all laws, administrative codes, and polices and regulations.

Develop and nurture successful relationships with sending school districts ensuring district satisfaction and ongoing referral stream

Lead the design and implementation of programs, based on current educational theory and research, to meet the specific needs of the school and its students.

Facilitate services for all students in the school including, but not limited to, those with special needs.

Work with personnel to enhance performance; implement discipline procedures when necessary

Maintain the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents, school personnel, and agencies associated with the school

Participate in the assessment of and changes in the school curriculum.

Lead and/or participate in the observation and/or evaluation of school staff. Leads and/or delegates handling of disciplinary actions, coach & counsels, exit interviews, etc... as requested.

Prepares reports, NJ Smart on a periodic basis, or as required

Maintain confidentiality of all school related information including student, staff, budgetary and financial information.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in educational leadership position in public, private or charter schools.
- Strong knowledge and experience working within Special Education and providing educational services for students with significant needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and implement strategic plans.
- Ability to inspire and motivate teachers, staff, students, and parents towards achieving academic excellence.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid and current NJ Principal certification
