Under the general supervision of the Administrator, the Adult Day Care RN is primarily responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the daycare clients. The nurse will be a registered professional nurse with at least one year of full-time or full-time equivalent experience in nursing supervision and/or nursing administration in a licensed healthcare facility. Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities include:

• - Provide direct client care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document the client's symptoms and vital signs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality client care
- Educate clients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Assist with procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records

• -Assist with ADLs

Education:

• RN License with minimum of 3 years experience
• One year full-time, or full-time equivalent, experience in a supervisory capacity.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in geriatrics

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
