Job Title: People Operations Manager
Location: Mostly on-site in Bedford, MA office (4 days/week)
Salary: Targeting $85,000
Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to community service, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our People Services and Employee Experience team. This newly created role will be instrumental in supporting our Head of HR in implementing strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and foster a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.
Lead efforts to revamp onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees.
Collaborate with operational managers to develop and implement training programs that promote professional development and enhance employee skills.
Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction through feedback mechanisms, recognition programs, and other innovative approaches.
Partner with HR Director to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Oversee HR operations including benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS management.
Act as a liaison between management and employees, facilitating open communication and resolution of workplace issues.
Continuously assess and improve HR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with leadership roles demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
