A growing and exciting privately owned company in Johns Creek/Duluth GA area is searching for a Payroll and Billing Specialist. This position is responsible for all components of the accounts receivable portfolio, including invoicing and collection activities. The Specialist will also be responsible for payroll processing for our field personnel and share in various accounting/office duties.

Responsibilities and Capabilities:

• Set up customer accounts and billing information and maintain customer records.
• Research and resolve disputed receivables and answer customer queries.
• Full cycle A/R and Payroll functions
• Review A/R aging with Controller on a weekly basis.
• Manage overall aged accounts receivable balances within outlined policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute with a high degree of accuracy.
• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum in an Accounts Receivable, Collections or Payroll position
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated working knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting practices
• Advanced skill level in MS applications
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Work at a fast pace but with a strong desire for accuracy
• Able to quickly learn new software applications
• Live within 30 minutes of Johns Creek

Salary Range $50 - $55,000, plus health, dental and vision coverage and 2 weeks of PTO in the first year. This position is an in-office role.
