Greenwich, CT Law Firm seeks experienced Probate Paralegal to support Trusts and Estates department, handling all aspects of estate and trust administration.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of probate/administration proceeding documents
• Collection and valuation of assets
• Payment of debts and distribution of bequests
• Assist with sale and transfer of assets
• Maintenance and balancing of Estate & Trust checkbooks
• Timely management of Probate court filings and proceedings

Candidate should be experienced with preparing:

• Estate and Trust Tax Returns (Fed & State 706’s)
• Estate and Trust Income Tax Returns (Fed & State 1041’s)
• Estate and Trust Inventory and Accounting for Probate Court

Additional experience with the following items is a plus:

• Deeds and Conveyance Tax Returns
• Creation of valuation reports for brokerage accounts

Candidate must be professional, diligent and have the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
