Principal Objective - The housekeeper performs all cleaning functions necessary for turn over of apartment units, as well as maintaining cleanliness of the hallways, office, mail centers and other common areas of the communities.

Requirements:

-Valid Texas Driver's License

-Demonstrated experience in housekeeping

-Good verbal communication

-Ability to read, write, and speak English

-Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, grasp, and climb ladders

-Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

-Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in variety of conditions for extended periods

Duties:

- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, etc.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in the dwellings

- Clean windows, window seals, doors, entry ways, hallways (interior & exterior)

- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly

- Restock supplies in rooms and common areas of the office

- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

- Work with Maintenance and Pest Control to maintain cleanliness of HVAC Systems by changing out filters weekly

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management

Experience:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or multi-family housekeeping is preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Able to work 40 hours a week from 8:30a – 5:30p Monday thru Friday

- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary

- Good verbal communication

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Note: Experience in custodial work is a plus.
