We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist and Billing supervisor to oversee credentialing and billing for mental health clinics in multiple states.
MUST BE ORGANIZED!
We are currently going through a rapid expansion and are looking for someone who can oversee multiple clinic credentialing at once with different Type II NPIs, different EINs, etc...
Once these clinics are open and operating you will be responsible for overseeing the team who is doing the billing for all of these clinics.
We will be adding to your team as we go and this has the potential to be a billing director over an entire country of clinics.
Must be knowledgeable in the mental health field and must be able to work with a team as the team leader. Must be well versed in all aspects of medical billing for the mental health field.
Experience in Therapy Notes a plus and experience leading a team/training a plus.
Duties:
- Review credentialing applications for healthcare providers
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of application materials
- Conduct primary source verification of provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications
- Maintain provider credentialing files and databases
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to obtain necessary documentation and information
- Communicate with providers regarding credentialing status and any additional requirements
- Assist with the recredentialing process for existing providers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in credentialing standards
-Oversee billing and collections for multiple clinics in multiple states
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credentialing and billing or related field, preferably in a managed care setting
- Knowledge of credentialing processes, standards, and regulations
- Familiarity with provider enrollment and payer enrollment processes
- Proficient in using credentialing software systems and databases
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
