```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic systems such as Allscripts, Medical Manager or NextGen
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Allscripts or NextGen
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
