Job Overview:
Busy medical office seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Biller who is professional, friendly, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate must have billing experience and experience in eCW is highly preferred. The Medical Biller will be responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, managing patient billing inquiries, collecting money from overdue accounts, and entering CPT and procedure codes into EMR system. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit electronic claims to insurance companies
- Stay up-to-date on changes in medical billing codes, regulations, and guidelines
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding billing issues

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9), and medical billing procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
