About the Role
The Company, a global leader in innovative rough terrain handling solutions for the construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors, is seeking a Managing Director for the Western US region. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, supervising, and coordinating all business activities and performance of the regional sales and support team members. This includes maximizing the sales and profit potential of all products and services, developing and managing the go-to market strategy, and driving overall growth, team member development, and customer experience within the region. The Managing Director will also be accountable for developing and executing the regional strategy, ensuring the adherence to corporate processes and policies, and managing the financial performance of the region.Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years of proven leadership and sales management experience, with a strong preference for those with multi-state/province responsibility. Experience in the distribution of manufactured capital products and managing a dealer network is strongly desired. The role requires outstanding consultative selling abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop a business culture that empowers and enables teams. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related area is required, with an MBA or advanced study being a plus. The position is field-based and will involve a minimum of 65% travel, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software.
