The Company is seeking a Managing Director for External Communications to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of integrated communications, media relations, and influencer engagement professionals. This role involves developing and implementing proactive communications strategies to support the organization's institutional priorities, advocacy campaigns, and member engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to create powerful storytelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, drive impact, and inspire action. They should be adept at managing large-scale public relations campaigns, cultivating internal relationships, and ensuring the quality and consistency of public narratives across all communication channels.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or public affairs, including at least 8 years managing strong, diverse teams. A track record of developing highly visible PR campaigns and securing top-tier media coverage is essential. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong collaborative spirit, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to The Company's mission, values, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) principles, and be willing to travel to The Company's U.S.-based offices as needed.
