Job Summary:
A highly organized and detail-oriented Storage Facility Manager to manage the day-to-day operations the self storage facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in store management and be a people person. As a Self Storage Facility Manager, you will be responsible for signing up new tenants, collecting and depositing rents, managing customer accounts, facilitating auctions for delinquent tenants, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Honesty, reliability, and professionalism is a must. You will work closely with owner.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the storage facility
- Assist customers with their storage needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Process rental agreements and handle payments
- Conduct regular inspections of storage units to ensure cleanliness and security
- Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Conduct interviews and hire new employees as needed
- Train and supervise storage facility staff
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales
Experience:
- Previous experience in store management or related field is required
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems
