We're looking for an experienced sales associate who can practice this customer-focused approach and is confident in their ability to close impressive sales.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing new shipments of merchandise.
Help in maintaining accurate inventory records, including details of quantity, type, and value of the materials.
Conduct regular physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the organization and placement of inventory within the store to optimize space and customer viewability.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure inventory availability for customer needs by performing reports with our Point of Sale (POS) software system.
Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and updates for the inventory manager.
Help in identifying and addressing any inventory discrepancies.
Follow all established inventory control procedures and regulations.
Assist in the return of defective items and manage the reordering of stock as necessary.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Education & experience in accounting/bookkeeping is preferred. Previous experience in inventory control, and retail is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in learning and using inventory software and microsoft excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and arranging inventory items.
Knowledge of the jewelry industry is a plus.
