Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal case management, data entry, and legal research. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment supporting immigration cases.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws and procedures
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
- Manage and maintain client files in compliance with office policies
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in immigration cases
- Schedule appointments, interviews, and meetings
- Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team

Skills:

- Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role
- Proficiency in legal case management software such as iManage
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to interview clients and gather relevant information for cases
- Knowledge of immigration law procedures and regulations
- Capability to conduct legal research efficiently
- Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to assist attorneys in preparing to litigate cases
