Duties for Hotel General Manager
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage and supervise staff members, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
- Monitor and maintain guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and employees
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, including pricing, inventory management, and upselling opportunities
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards
- Handle guest complaints or difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of front desk operations, revenue management, and hospitality industry
