Company is looking to add a highly efficient Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant to our team!

We are looking for an Accounting Professional that wants to grow and be groomed to be a Controller. Someone who has all the numbers under control but also wants to be a business partner making real decisions and a big difference.

We desire a detail oriented, Accounting Professional/ Full Charge Bookkeeper. Qualified individuals will have several years of comprehensive experience in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, Excel, Word, solid knowledge (GAAP) in accounting transactions, and ability to multi-task. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner both via written correspondence and verbal. This job encompasses a variety of tasks, time management, prioritizing, and the ability to wear many different hats while paying close attention to detail is a MUST.

Responsibilities: (including, but not limited to)

  • AP/AR/Collections
  • Data Entry
  • Customer Credit Applications & Follow up
  • Office Supplies Management
  • Create and manage Customer Specific Pricing
  • Position Accountability
  • Credit Card & Bank Reconciliation (daily management & monthly reconciliations)
  • Communicate with other department managers
  • Inventory Management
  • Daily QuickBooks backup
  • Manage P&L Reporting and Presentation
  • Prepare & lead the monthly statistics report
  • Oversee Operations Department
  • Aid in warehouse when necessary
  • Spreadsheet Management
  • Company calendar maintenance
  • Manage IT issues in coordination with 3rd party IT company
  • Expense reports
  • Manage Cash Flow
  • Payroll
  • Provide suggestions for cost savings and productivity initiatives to improve financial and operational effectiveness of the company
  • Work with company's CPA firm to ensure adherence with GAAP and timely reporting
  • Any additional tasks as instructed by General Manager and President

Performance Measures:

  • Completion of daily checklist
  • Reduce the DSO by 10% on average from previous year
  • Reduce expenses and/or improve cash flow by at least $10k in the current year
  • Perform all general accounting functions to include: AR and collections, inventory management, AP, expense reports, cash management and reporting, payroll, and other accounting functions
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and daily cash position reports
  • Reconcile all general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Be fully accomplished with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop or a similar software and have the ability to utilize all aspects
  • Prepare special projects on an assigned basis
  • Lead HR function including: benefits, New Hires (24-hour completion on new hire packets), and Terminations (completed day of termination)

Requirements:

  • Must have 3 years of proven bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Must have 1 years of HR experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, GAAP
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an outgoing personality that enjoys talking to people
  • Prioritize efficiently
  • STRONG work ethic with a GO-GETTER mentality

Position starts at $50k DOE bonus opportunities

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
