Duties
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and therapists, to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and resident rights
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technology
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing administration or a related field
- Strong background in acute care, with knowledge of Medicare regulations
- Must have experience in long-term care
- Proven track record in nurse management, including supervising and mentoring staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology for accurate assessment and documentation
