Job Summary:
We are a family-oriented private practice with a state of the art facility. The DA will assist the dentist in the performance of quality, caring, and clinical dentistry. This includes clinical and technical procedures under the direct super-vision of a licensed dentist, as well as preparing the operatories, getting the patient ready, and maintaining awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients. The DA must have a positive and engaging attitude, and be cheerful towards patients. The DA needs to be a team player with adaptability to new information and learning on the go.
The Dental Assistant must be able to:
o Take intra oral pictures
o Assist the dentist chairside
o Sterilize instruments
o Set up/turn over treatment rooms and restock supplies
o Be attentive to patients' needs, explain dental procedures, treatment plans, and post-operative instructions
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment
o Work in a team and contribute to Team Huddles/Meetings
o Use Windows computers and standard office equipment and software.
o Must be able to handle basic front office duties including phone calls, scheduling patients, checking eligibility and quoting offices prices for cash patients.
