About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide leadership in clinical care, quality, patient safety, and risk management. The CMO will be a key member of the Senior Leadership team, responsible for guiding the development and implementation of medical policies, the practice of medicine, and clinical programs in collaboration with Senior Management. This role includes providing clinical oversight for all providers, directly supervising specific medical directors, and overseeing the Quality and Infection Control department. The ideal candidate will be a systems-thinker, embrace collaboration, and help drive effective change.Applicants for the CMO position at The Company must have an MD/DO degree with a Vermont medical license and board certification, along with at least 10 years of clinical practice and 5 years of progressive managerial experience. An advanced degree in business, leadership, or management is advantageous. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in progressive leadership and medical practice, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams. A senior leadership background is desirable for this part-time position, which could be combined with a part-time provider role.
