Confidential is Hiring a CAD Designer Near Franklin, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs analysis of customers’ business requirements and develops solutions to meet or exceed customers’ needs. Conducts or oversees the development of proposal documents

· Determines methodology for collecting, analyzing and summarizing data critical to design

· Develops a wide range of concepts that meet or exceed the Design Criteria. Concepts may range from manual to fully automated solutions

· To facilitate concept understanding, uses Autocad extensively to draw concepts in customers layout

· Evaluates concepts and recommends the best solution. Skilled in using evaluation techniques ranging from simple “pro and con” comparisons to sophisticated Return on Investment (ROI) calculations

· Stay up to date on all products/systems/offerings within the industry, including systems integration aspects and highly technical, complex solutions

· Collaborate with the sales team members & customers to evaluate customer needs, design and present the best solution to the sales team

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget

· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of each open development project

· Participate in internal projects as required

· Manage the workload assigned by the Director of Operations

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

· Highly detail oriented, ability to manage to critical deadlines

· Ability to multitask effectively & prioritize & execute tasks

· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential

· Ability to work through project issues with customers in a timely manner

· Technically competent and proficient with various software programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD, Solidworks

· Strong written and oral communication skills: In person meetings, email, phone calls

· Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

· Strong technical aptitude – highly knowledgeable of industry systems and components

· BA/BS in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience

· BA/BS degree or equivalent

Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm, over time as needed

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 (Annual based on experience)

Base determined by experience and skill.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
